Testing methods for choke and kill manifolds
1. Requirements for choke and kill manifold test: The test fluid should be suitable for the test temperature. Water, gas, hydraulic oil, or other fluid mixtures with or without additives can be used as test fluids. The test fluid should be a fluid that remains in a liquid or gaseous state during the test process.
2. Assembly hydrostatic pressure (strength) test pressure: When the rated working pressure is 34.5MPa, the test pressure is twice the rated working pressure; When the rated working pressure is 34.5MPa, the test pressure is 1.5 times of the rated working pressure. The static pressure sealing test pressure is the rated working pressure.

3 Acceptance criteria:
a) Normal temperature hydrostatic test: The pressure change observed by the pressure measuring device during the test pressure is 69MPa, and during the pressure holding period, it is less than 5% of the test pressure. There is no visible leakage during the pressure holding period, and it should be accepted; When the test pressure is greater than 69MPa, the pressure change observed by the pressure measuring device during the holding period is less than 3.45MPa, and there is no visible leakage during the holding period, which should be accepted.
b) Low temperature/high temperature test: When the test pressure is 69MPa, the pressure change observed by the pressure measuring device during the pressure holding period is less than 5% of the test pressure, and there is no visible leakage during the pressure holding period, which should be accepted; When the test pressure is greater than 69MPa, the pressure change observed by the pressure measuring device during the holding period is less than 3.45MPa, and there is no visible leakage during the holding period, which should be accepted.
c) Temperature stability: When the temperature is stable, the change rate is less than 0.6 (1F/mm). During the insulation period, the temperature should be maintained at or above the limit temperature, but should not exceed 6.7C (20F).
d) Post test inspection: The prototype after the test must be disassembled for inspection and relevant items must be photographed. Indicates that the design of the product and components has no defects and cannot meet performance requirements.
4 Gas replacement method: If the gas test method is used instead of the liquid test method, the test fluid can be a mixture of air, nitrogen, methane, or other gases.
